Pastor Naik is from the Banjara people group and was raised as a Hindu.
He was blessed to continue his pre- college education and lived with a Christian family.
This family gave Naik a Bible, took him to church and by God’s grace Naik was saved.
Mrs. Jayasheela known by Naik as “Mom” prayed for years for a Banjara boy to live with them, be saved and take the Good News to the Banjara people.
Raised in a small village with no roads or electricity in a one room home with a thatched roof dirt floors.
As the GBBM ministry grew, opposition and persecution increased.
Pastor Naik and Sujatha had committed their lives to the Lord and His service, but felt they needed to provide a safe environment for their children.
A funeral service was held in India to honor the lives of the Naik children.
Between 4 and 5 thousand people attended the funeral service.
The Christian service was broadcast over the India national television stations and watched by millions of people.
We know Sharron, Aaron and Joy impacted the lives of many people both in the United States and India as they shared the love of Jesus.
We also know that their funeral service had an eternal impact on the lives of many who for the first time heard the name of Jesus as they watched the funeral service.
